It's the book I'm reading at the moment, it's wonderful, I love it very much.

And these sentences could be said about handmade quilts as well!!

I sometimes think, there is no such thing as a mistake when something is done with care, love and creativity and an independent mind!

Someone told me that my cards with Hawaiian-style-quilts look good next to a cup of coffee, both giving fresh energy! 

Well, I loved to hear that and here is such a picture... :-)

This is my block for March which I now add to my blocks for January and February. My plan is to design a block each month so that I have a quilt for the whole year 2014 in the end. I first talked about it on January 5 here. The blocks are all pieced with red and natural-colored fabrics (cotton and linen) and not quilted yet.

That's what I have so far. It's fun to proceed SLOWLY, to let it rest in between, to turn to it again every few weeks, to start something new and different with every block and month, but: 

no rush...
